Cardiovascular Risk Assessments
We are proud to offer free cardiovascular risk assessments under the guidance of our team of nurse practitioners. The assessment is made up of three simple, yet extremely effective tests. The aim of having an assessment is to identify any predispositions to cardiovascular concerns. Identifying possible concerns and taking action sooner rather than later can be a matter of life and death when it comes to heart-related concerns.
Each assessment is free and takes just 20 minutes with results delivered instantly.

QRISK Test
QRISK is an algorithm-based tool frequently used by the NHS to gauge the likelihood of cardiovascular events occurring. The test evaluates an individual’s 10-year risk of having a heart attack based on factors such as blood pressure, weight, lifestyle choice and medical health history.
HaemoglobinA1c Test
(HbA1c)
The hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) test measures the amount of blood sugar (glucose) attached to your hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the part of your red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. It is an important blood test that gives a good indication of how well your diabetes is being controlled.
Lipid Profile Test
A Lipid Profile test, also known as a Cholesterol test, looks specifically at the levels of cholesterol and other fats in your blood. A Lipid Profile tests for both HDL and LDL cholesterol, as well as TG- another type of fat found in the blood. It is important to monitor cholesterol levels as high cholesterol can result in clogged arteries.
